Reviewer: C.Joo 시이주

From Jay Chou's Yi Fu Zhi Ming [周杰伦 - 以父之名] to Christine's first self-publish novel, The Prince in Prague was born. The Prince in Prague was portrayed from Jay Chou's music video, "In the Name of the Father". Base from the MV, the plot of the story was born. In the summary, the dark hero, Gabriel Ying Han, works under the most dangerous clan, called Chess. Gabriel is the son of the clan's leader, that's how he get the name Prince. For a living, Gabriel and his clan kills people for honor and fame of destruction. To be able to succeed as the new ruler for the throne, Gabriel must kill their last target, Anna Yoo. During his mission, he begins to understand his role in life and his pride. Betrayal was at his palm.

Who is Christine Xiong?

Christine Xiong was born in Sacramento, CA on 1993. During her childhood times, Christine spends most of her time telling stories with her siblings. As she grew older, her writing skills had shaped her into a poet-novelist. Christine had written and plotted at least 20 stories—that covers around the genre of romance, mysteries, and drama/action—but haven’t got the chance to publish it. At the age of 17, she had self-published her first novel, The Prince in Prague—which was inspired from her all-time-idol/inspiration, Jay Chou. After the major success from her first book, Christine is looking forward to be a famous novelist in the future, with the hope and inspiration from Jay.

Christine is now working with The Prince in Prague II: An Awaken Legacy and her new heart-warming, miracle, romance book, Her Sensation.

Inspiration from L O V E:

Behind the scene of The Prince in Prague, Jay Chou was the inspiration of the novel. Christine never had a character such as Gabriel: a deadly killer, a weapon for Chess. She thought that Jay's character in Yi Fu Zhi Ming was a good example of a flaw character. In the MV, it draws the connection between Sinners, God and forgiveness. Through this theme, Christine had created a religious theme for her novel. "Jay Chou is the perfect role-model for Gabriel Ying Han", said Christine. Through her love and faith for Jay, she wants to build her legacy behind Chou's name. Christine had made a great memory, making her school and classmates remember her greatest accomplishment through her love and inspiration from Jay Chou.

  1. I think this book rocks and should be an Asian drama starring Bi Rain as the lead ^o^...Once you read a page of this book you wont be able to stop I recommend this awesome novel to anyone who is looking for a good plot with just the right amount of romance and action.I was literally pulled into the story, lost in the magnificently detailed world of chess and the lives of the main characters Gabriel and Anna.I cant wait to read more from the genius of a writer: Christine Xiong! I give this book 5 stars if the rating was out of 20 then 20 stars! A recommended buy, not the least disappointed :D
